A LITTLE ABOUT US AND OUR ETHOS

2020/21 was a year like no other, but it gave us an appreciation of all the good things around us locally. We relied on small businesses more, like home deliveries from local farmers and shopping in local villages for local produce. The revival of interest in locally produced food had been a fantastic boost to rural communities.

 

We wanted to give you a taste of what is on our doorstep; beautifully made and delicious tasting things, produced efficiently using fresh ingredients and packed as ethically as possible. Our current selection of ethically sourced products is varied and of the highest quality, and this will continue to grow as we do. 

 

We would like to use only local producers but sometimes we do have to go a little farther afield to get quality products we think you will like. But, we will only do this if those items are not available on our doorstep and if we need to be assured of quality and shelf life; we want our hampers to arrive to you in as perfect a condition as they leave us.

We do not use wicker baskets as we cannot always guarantee they have been ethically produced with so many coming from overseas. We can get UK made baskets but this will add on 7 days minimum to your order and an additional cost with being UK ethically sourced  products. We use card board gift boxes that can be recycled however.

Many of the items in our hampers are sourced locally from Suffolk and East Anglia, but we also feature products from artisans and small businesses across Britain.
